Is the Toronto Pro SuperShow Ready for the Predator?

Last year, Toronto and the bodybuilding/fitness community, as well as the multi sport industry, was treated to an event that many only knew on the international scale.  An IFBB Pro/O.P.A. Amateur and Multi Sport Event unlike anything Toronto had ever seen before was making its way for that June 2011.  Putting this huge event together, were promoters and friends, Ron Hache and Jim Morris.  Both dedicated athletes, supporters and well known Canadian names in this sport.  The Toronto Pro SuperShow was either going to be a success or not depending on what Ron, Jim, their family, friends and volunteers could pull off that weekend in June.  Well, if the way this year's show is shaping up, and the promise from all involved with the Toronto Pro SuperShow - bigger and better, I have a feeling that  the 2011 show was a success.

June 1-3 2012, will mark an event unlike any other for Toronto and the industry.  With GNC as the title sponsor, strong support from the Canadian athletes, companies and media sources, as well as strong ties and connections with the International athletes and market of the sport, the Toronto Pro SuperShow is not to be missed.  The list of events, stage shows, personalities, media, industry companies and well known athletes attending, and gracing the Pro stages is unbelievable considering the show is in its second year.  Mr. Olympia 2011 Phil Heath! 4x Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler! 8x Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman, Shawn Ray, Tony Freeman, Flex Wheeler, and just recently confirmed...Kai Greene!

If you are a fan of the sport of bodybuilding and have followed over the years, one of the athletes that comes to mind for his dedication, physique, initiative, passion, and creativity is IFBB Pro Kai Greene.  Kai Greene is one of those Pro bodybuilders that makes his accomplishments in the sport and love of the sport relatable for any athlete and/or fan.  Coming from a troubled past, broken home and a childhood full of anger, low self esteem and negativity, Kai was able to find weight training as a way to escape and channel all of his behaviours.  IFBB Pro Kai Greene, better known as the 'Predator' do to his long, grueling and intense training sessions, brings with him a gentleness and grace as he steps onto the competition stage.  Kai is one of those athletes that you just cannot help but watch in his routine because of its creativity and his use of his body. Greene became interested in bodybuilding through his love of the arts, particularly visual. Greene sees his work on his own body "as an extension of his artistic bent." "I became my own living model. I utilized my own physique to gain a greater understanding of space and movement, creating works of art that became increasingly detailed and complex over time."  Having stepped on many IFBB Pro stages, the Arnold's and Mr. Olympia, now Toronto is going to be able to say that IFBB Pro Kai Greene stepped on our Pro stage as well.
