TORONTO PRO SUPERSHOW MEDIA GUIDELINES

The Toronto Pro SuperShow welcomes all legitimate members of the media to request complimentary credentials to cover any and all of its events. We appreciate your coverage and continued support. Please submit only one application per news agency. Please coordinate your planned coverage and include all requests for credentials on one application. The sports editor/director should submit the request. To obtain credentials and to make the process as easy as possible for you, please submit the MEDIA CREDENTIALS REQUEST FORM online form below.

MEDIA CREDENTIALS AVAILABLE:

  1. MEDIA EXPO CREDENTIAL: Permits access to all events in the EXPO. It does not include access to the professional IFBB events or OPA events at the John Bassett Theatre and does not include an assigned seat.
  2. MEDIA JOHN BASSETT BACKSTAGE CREDENTIAL: Permits access to all events in the EXPO. Includes limited access to the “pump up room” at John Bassett Theatre for interviews with professional IFBB competitors and does not include an assigned seat.
  3. MEDIA JOHN BASSETT PIT CREDENTIAL: Permits access to all events in the EXPO. Includes an assigned seat for photographers only in the front stage media areas at the John Bassett Theatre for IFBB and OPA events only.

We reserve the right to refuse media credentials, without cause, during pre-registration as well at the onsite media registration. Note media credentials are in high demand and are limited in number, please return your request at your earliest convenience. The Toronto Pro SuperShow does not mail credentials in advance. Credentials must be picked up in person at the Media Room, located in the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (255 Front Street West, Toronto).

EXCLUSIVE MEDIA RIGHTS:

The Toronto Pro SuperShow retains exclusive media rights (including, but not limited to, rights in broadcast, cable, audio, home video, Internet, or such other recordings, accounts or descriptions, now known or hereafter devised) to all events. The use, account, description, picture, photograph, video, audio, reproduction, or other information acquired at Toronto Pro SuperShow venues other than for news coverage (defined as the description or depiction of newsworthy events or information) is strictly prohibited. For avoidance of doubt, no person shall use any content described above in any commercial manner, except with the prior written consent of the Toronto Pro SuperShow. No video/audio from the professional IFBB events can be aired or published online until after the evening events have concluded. Video/audio coverage should be no longer than 3 minutes in length.

Editors/Directors should provide a letter of assignment written on company letterhead that specifies each event to be covered, at what capacity and which staff will be covering each.
Files must be less than 2 MB.

You understand that receipt of an Toronto Pro SuperShow Media Credential is specifically conditioned upon your compliance with such regulations and that your failure to do so will result in the immediate loss of news media outlets credential privileges at the Toronto Pro SuperShow events and may result in liability and understand that the application submission does not guarantee credential approval.
